The Peter Wall Institute for Advanced Studies focuses on creating collaborative, interdisciplinary, basic research programs for scholars at all stages of their careers. Every year, the Institute will appoint up to twelve UBC scholars. The research award is aimed at enhancing opportunities for scholars to have regular and meaningful exchanges of ideas, serving as a catalyst for new research advances and collaborations. One of those scholars was Guy Dumont, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
